Built by people who ran an energy label.
Energie Software started because the software we needed to launch a Benelux energy label didn't exist at the right price point. So we built it.
Our Story
From domain knowledge to production software
Running a retail energy supplier in the Netherlands means juggling EDSN market messages, SEPA direct debit runs, Dutch energy tax brackets, saldering credits for solar customers, dunning workflows — and doing it reliably, every month, without error.
Existing platforms were either built for large incumbents (expensive, inflexible) or bolt-together integrations that left gaps at every seam. We built Energie Software to close those gaps: one platform that covers every operation a new label needs from day one.
The platform is live and in active development. It runs the full Benelux market stack — EDSN simulation in development, real EDSN connections in production — and handles everything from EAN registration to annual settlement.
What we believe
The billing engine, metering, and market messaging must be correct before the portal looks nice. We built the back-office first.
Every module is live and connected. We don't ship placeholder screens that say "coming soon" — if it's in the platform, it works.
EB/ODE tax brackets, saldering phase-out, EDSN C37 switch messages, SEPA Pain.008 — built in, not bolted on.
New entrants shouldn't need €500K in custom development to compete. The platform gives you a full energy back-office from day one.
